Privacy policy

The short version

This site has one form. What you type into it is emailed to Sean Kirkpatrick so he can reply to you. It is not sold, rented, or shared with anyone else, and it is not used for newsletters or drip campaigns. There is no advertising or analytics tracking on this site.

What the contact form collects

When you submit the form on this site, it collects only what you enter:

• Full nameRequired, so Sean knows who he's replying to.
• Email addressRequired, and the primary way he'll respond.
• Phone numberOptional. Provided only if you'd rather be called.
• Property interestWhich category your inquiry falls under.
• MessageWhatever you choose to write.

Nothing else is collected. The site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and does not build a profile of you.

Where it goes

Submissions are delivered by Web3Forms, a third-party form service that forwards the contents of the form to Sean's email inbox. Web3Forms handles your submission in transit; the message itself lands in Sean's email, and that is where it stays.

Your information is not sold, rented, traded, or shared for marketing. It is not added to any mailing list or CRM. The only reason it is retained at all is so Sean can respond to you and keep a record of the conversation, as a broker is expected to.

The one exception is the ordinary one: information may be disclosed if the law requires it, such as a subpoena or a regulatory request from the Texas Real Estate Commission.

Fonts

This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. Doing so sends your IP address and browser details to Google as part of the request for the font files. No other data is shared with Google, and no Google tracking or advertising code runs on this site.

How long it's kept, and how to have it deleted

Inquiries are kept as long as they're useful for the conversation or required by Texas real estate recordkeeping rules, and are deleted after that.

You can ask for a copy of what's held about you, ask for a correction, or ask for it to be deleted at any time. Email smk@skirkpatrick.com or call (817) 676-7521 and say so — no particular form of words is needed. Requests are handled promptly, and there's no charge.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send sensitive personal information — Social Security numbers, bank account or wire details — through the contact form. If a transaction needs that kind of information, Sean will arrange a secure way to send it.

Children

This site is meant for adults doing real estate business and is not directed at children under 13. Information is not knowingly collected from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
